SQUIDDOG is the brain child of Tim McAnally and Dave Vitagliano, two friends who go all the way back to high school in Tempe, Arizona. Tim was looking for a way to combine the edgy, R & B rock riffs he was writing with some meaningful lyrics. Dave brought his poetry and tunesmithing to the table and SQUIDDOG was born. The thought here was to combine the elements of Rock, R&B, and Outlaw Country and write some songs that connect to the human experience of the southwestern Gen X-er.  SQUIDDOG has just completed recording it's debut studio album "Chile Lime Squid", which is ready for release. With old friend and drummer Len Miller, and new friend bassist Jeff Catlin, SQUIDDOG is preparing to take those tunes, along with some tasty covers done "their way", and bring them out to light of day, or dark of night as the case may be.
